Launch of Angelina Singapore
Parisians are well-known for their delicatessens — and their indulgence extends to the city's well-known luxury fashion brands such as Louis Vuitton and Coco Chanel. Having been in France twice, I am so in love with French attitudes to life. They take their food and drink really seriously — even the renowned Michelin Guide is produced by them! No wonder they are so vocal in critiquing what they consume! It's only natural then that I'm really excited about the imminent launch of famous French pâtisserie Angelina in Singapore!

Milk Chocolate Hearts Filled with Hazelnut Praline
Coeurs En Chocolat Au Lait Fourrés Au Praliné Noisette
This brings back lovely memories... when I was in Paris, I bought these heart-shaped chocolates for my beloved. Nothing ever goes wrong with hazelnut! However, I find that chilling these in the refrigerator seems to make them quite hard. Perhaps it's best to leave them at room temperature?

Caramel Cream with Salted Butter
Crème caramel au beurre salé
Angelina's delicious Caramel Cream, made with Salted butter |
This is like having popcorn as a spread. The sweetness of the caramel is well-complemented with the strong salted butter aroma, and the texture is sticky and creamy. It's THE spread to go for when you are craving something savoury yet sweet in the morning. It's made with sugar, fresh cream, butter, syrup of glucose and sea salt from Gerande.
Really looking forward to Angelina's debut in Singapore! Do keep a look out for them and check out their lovely exquisite goodies!
