Through a Malaysian government-funded initiative, Agrobazaar's open ceremony was graced by Ministers Najib Razak and PM Lee. The establishment offers the ultimate Malaysian agricultural experience to every guest with three concepts — KopieSatu, The Verandah and Concept 'Locavore'. This includes an interesting durian cellar— the perfect storage place for diners who is intending to have a durian buffet.

We were invited by TIN to enjoy the wide array of food offered by Agrobazaar. The experience was pretty unexpected — because it turned out that Agrobazaar is a hub of three unique concepts: The Verandah, Concept 'Locavore' and KopieSatu. These concepts are spread across two-levels, with Locavore and KopieSatu on the first floor and The Verandah on the second. Think of the latter as a rooftop terrace with alfresco dining!

I absolutely loved the Mee Bandung 'Muo' and the Homemade Chicken Satay. Pity it ran out so quickly, or else it would have satiated my appetite! The Rainbow Durian Cake looks really pretty, but I would prefer if it had a stronger durian fragrance and taste!

Personally, I think the owners are a great fun to be with — they're friendly and they represent Malaysians. The food served was very close to what I eat in our neighbouring country too — it has a lot of rich and strong flavours, quite intriguing for the local tastebuds.
