It was a cauldron of explosive emotions for us when we visited the newly revamped Trick Eye Museum filled with refreshing artworks and concepts! I was dancing around from artwork to artwork, going 'oooh' and 'aaaah' with every step — impressed by the creative illustrations. Honestly, I wished I knew the in-house korean artists and designers, the illustrators and the crew who made this possible! Doing a split with much ease! |
There are
more than 100 oversized optical illusion paintings and exhibits that trick both the naked eyes and the camera lens! I didn't have the time to cover all paintings even though I spent 2 hours in the museum. It was
so much fun figuring out how to pose and how to shoot!

Anyone can be a ballerina here!!! |
"
Touch the exhibitions as much as you like" is the museum's policy! The displays are divided into six interactive zones, namely
Mystery, Excitement, Supernatural, Fairytale, Fantasy and Trick World.

Trick Eye is really a photograph paradise. I had so much fun taking on different roles, and we've expressed ourselves in ways we didn't before. So much laughter, so much joy!
I was so happy to see an adaption of Vincent Van Gogh's artwork on display at the museum. Starry Starry Night is pretty significant to me because it represents the whirlwinds of troubles and stresses in life, yet there is still light in the centre of these troubles!

Behind the scenes
If you're worried about your photography skills, fret not! We relied heavily on the tutorials mounted on walls that shared possible angles and poses to take our pictures.

A sweet and memorable photo for families and couples! |
