Traversing the world of plants with your beloved
I've been taking an intermittent hiatus from my blog— the initial reason was drowning in my final-year project... but after stepping back, I realised that there were so many things I want to do and have unfortunately been procrastinating. Building a terrarium was one of the items in my bucket list BECAUSE it amazes me how life can sustain itself without little care. Le BF did not think that way so I dragged him to build a terrarium from scratch, with the help of YouTube videos and supplies from Masons Home Decor. Read on to find out how you can get a great Terrarium deal exclusive to @littletinysun readers :)

Taadahh! Here's how it looks like (Source: www.masons.com.sg). |
We made a beautiful mess out of our creation!
Look at the tiny weeny pot of life! It's so thorny yet so cute. |
I wanted to document the process of how to make a terrarium but it was really challenging. We had to playback multiple videos. The step-by-step instructions given by Mason Home Decor was pretty basic, so there were a lot of questions such as 'how much pebbles should I put' etc.
The soil does not separate itself from the plant |
I'm not sure how long it took us - probably about 1-3 hours? We had a lot of fun trying to make the succulent stand on its own... I guess there's something magical about having the opportunity to work with your partner— to work as a team!
So I just saw that Masons Home Decor had a wide variety of DIY Terrariums as well.
When I get my own home, I'll definitely add these items man. They make every home a living sanctuary.
Cividale Concrete Pot with Succulent — S$21.90
I mean - you don't have to water these plants regularly and they stand strong on its own. These succulents really give me a lot of motivation .. they are like the 'never-say-die' kinda plant. My favourite is the Cividale. So cute, like green fat french fries!
So I asked le BF what he thought of the experience, and here's what he said:
"I initially didn't think that it'd be fun but seeing how we can work together was so much fun!"
