Essence of Chicken (Dang Gui) — Angelica sinensis

I think I'm the ideal candidate to review this health drink because I suffer from backaches during that time of the month. In my previous post, I shared how I can beat that with heat packs but they only treat the symptoms!

When I first drank this, the taste was overwhelmingly herbal. It has a strong bitter taste but I was able to down it really quickly. The smell is AMAZING though— I started loving the drink from my third bottle onwards after getting used to the unique taste. I finished one box of BRAND'S just to see if there would be any effects. Usually, I have to take MC or go on leave during that time of the month because I can hardly sit down or stand up (all I want to do is to lie down!). Although it's only been a month, I haven't taken any MC yet as I don't suffer from backaches anymore! The hardest part for me was to actually keep track and ensure that I consumed this TWO weeks after the last period. Hard... to... remember... really. I hope these effects would last. You can have it at room temperature, warmed or chilled. I just take it straight from the bottle because I'm lazy busy, haha.
