Hide-and-seek at Ewha Women's University Review

I wanted to take a breather from the busy city life, and strangely, friends recommended the Ewha Women's University which should be the epitome of stress. My favourite professor is an alumni from this university — and she's brilliant and intelligent. Only the brightest students can enrol themselves here. Ewha Women's University looks nothing like a university — it has a mishmash of glass metallic art structures yet retains the traditional bricks for some buildings. All these encapsulated in the lush greenery with stone paths for students and visitors to walk on.

The walk around the university was as breathtaking as the weather we experienced that day — there were a lot of photospots and cozy 'couple corners' for those who are in for a romantic time. Friends can also sit and chill and enjoy the breeze. Because we were there during a school holiday, there was a lack of food options.

I can't imagine how life would be like as a university student in Ewha - the classes are hidden from the public and I couldn't figure out where the tutorial rooms and lecture theatres are. I'm pretty sure I'd be a lost soul if I were to study there! Ha!

I was at Ewha Women's University near the end of the week-long 'golden week of Korea'. Students were coming back to the university to start their semesters, but there weren't a lot of people that week. Nearby, there is a famous shopping street for university students — there's affordable fashion and food! I'd love to have more time to explore the area near Ewha in future!
