3 Best Mortage Brokers in Singapore For 2021

If you're looking for a mortage loan in Singapore, you might find yourself grappling with the arduous comparison across all the mortage loans offered by the various banks. Most people save time and hassle from thoroughly reviewing the details of each mortgage loan by engaging a mortgage broker. A mortgage broker is like an agent who crawls through the various loans offered by banks and gives you the best rate based on your needs. They are incentivized by the commission given by banks, and commission is generally the same across banks. It's quite clear that you wouldn't be shortchanged as they offer a competitive service.

I engaged Keyquest Mortage early for an IPA (in-principle approval). Kenneth, immediately looped me into a WhatsApp group with 3 other employees. They covered each other and responded swiftly. Sometimes I reply late, and they've never had qualms or made any snarky remarks about that (yes, I did experience some brokers who made sarcastic remarks about my slow responses). They were also conscious of my hectic schedule and did not 'spam call' me like some of the other brokers. I truly appreciate Kenneth, Lenny & his team, as they were really supportive and gave the best knowledge of the situation. I was in a tricky spot because I moved across countries in less than a year and my career was not the usual 'path'! It might be a challenge to get a mortage loan if you're an entrepreneur, an agent etc. I absolutely love how transparent Keyquest is in terms of the benefits across banks.

2. Dollarback Mortgage

Jovin gave me a call and explained in detail about the different caveats of a loan - and it was a call that  was made close to midnight. I apologise that I wasn't able to prioritise his call due to work and lifestyle schedule (busy period then) but he was really cool about it. He made sure I understood every definition and details of each mortage package. If you are someone who is keen on details, Jovin would be the person for you.

3. MoneySmart.sg Mortage

I believe MoneySmart already has a long list of clients, since they are an established website. Hence,the broker was slower to respond compared to the other boutique brokers. However, he was friendly and we managed to have a few calls together to discuss the packages. Based on google reviews, it also seemed like he was the only broker. He explained the terms of the packages in very simple layman terms, so if you are someone who does not want to dive into the details, I believe working with them would be suitable for your needs.
