Best Same-Day Durian Cake Delivery To Your Doorstep Singapore

Do you remember those days when one would need 4 days in advance to reserve their cakes in a bakery shop? With the advancement in warehouse and order management systems, the capabilities of supply chain have scaled to such massive heights that it is now possible to enjoy a slice of cake on the very same day you place your order! With courtesy of The Durian Bakery and recommendation by BestinSingapore, I had the luxury to host my own mini durian party with my family -- indulging in the luscious, creamy fruit coupled with layered crepe. What a mind-blowing experience!

We ordered a few tasty treats, and I can't describe how appreciative I am with this modern-day experience. I mean, I remember getting scolded by the bus captain for bringing durians up the bus before. In Singapore, you cannot bring durians on public transport. Some people (like myself) absolutely love the fragrance of durians, while others may scoff at the 'stench'! 

You have the option to select from nine durian cakes.We tried the Dark Chocolate Musang King Durian Mille Crepe Cake 8″ (SGD 128.00). It was layered with The Durian Bakery's signature MSW SilkyGold™ Durian Puree, blended through a special process to make it extra creamy. The mouthfeel leaves a pleasant bittersweet aftertaste, and strikes a perfect balance between the bitterness from the dark chocolate and sweetness of the durian. Very impressive!

As we couldn't finish the whole cake, we actually ate it over 4 days. This is not recommended as the card recommends consumption within 24 hours. However, I don't feel like there was any issue after 4 days... maybe I got a powerful fridge? Lol!

The MSW Durians are freshly plucked from Durian Delivery’s private plantation of specially cultivated old trees. All of their cakes and patisseries are made without preservatives and freshly baked daily. Sometimes you might come across out-of-stock information on their website, that is because they don't stock up their ingredients!


Are their baked goods safe for vegetarians or halal?

As of now, they are still not halal certified. The Mousse is not suitable for Vegetarians and Halal friends because we uses Gelatin in them.

Most products consists of eggs and are prepared in premises that also prepares the Mousse. But rest assured, all equipment are thoroughly washed before baking any other baked goods.
