Chocolate Mark
Chocolate Mark is the epitome of cocoa extravagance in the heart of the city. With free WiFi, power outlets to charge your electronics, as well as magazines for leisurely browsing, they ensure you'll experience a 'Smudge of Indulgence'. One of the must-tries is the Chocolate Baileys (S$6), which contains chocolate with a hint of alcohol & espresso. Club Meatballs
If you're looking for an offbeat yet not weird vibe, Club Meatballs is the go-to place for the night. Waitresses have the quintessential sexy look — manicured hands and bright red lipstick. The loud thumping music makes it difficult to hold proper conversations, but some may enjoy being immersed in their favourite tunes as they dine. Club Meatballs pride themselves on making their meatballs from scratch, but there are other items worth trying too. Do check out the Pulled Pork, Chilli and Purple Slaw Sliders ($13). The wispy strands of pork are tender and flavourful!20 Cross Street, #01-35

Seasons Bistro
The natural light that fills every corner of this place gives it a warm and welcoming atmosphere. My mood was lifted by the soothing ambience and service: old teak tables, large New York-inspired picture frames and waitresses alert to your every need. I got myself the piquant and fragrant Cajun blackened fish taco (S$16.00). Their menu changes according to the seasons, emphasizing sustainable practices and quality ingredients.TripleOne Somerset, Singapore 238164

7Kickstart Coffee & Grill
Since returning from Vietnam last year, I have sorely missed my icy potent drip coffee! I have my drip brewer at home, but it simply takes too much effort to make a cold drip coffee myself. I really LOVED the tinge of ashy carbon fragrance and the robust bitterness featured in this cuppa! See that thick layer of crema on top? It's a surefire indication of quality coffee!
