Fracell Skin Reborn - Bellezza Aesthetics Review

I experienced my first Fracell (1MHz) Dual Fractional Radio Frequency at Bellezza Aesthetics. This is a non-surgical treatment used to tighten loose or sagging skin. I did very little research and only browsed through their instagram on the 'before' and 'after' image, and fracell skin reborn sounded like the best out of their three offerings (the other two were aqua dew booster and korean v-lift). Previously, I shared a review on Bellezza Aesthetics Oxyjet Facial and I'm happy to be back to try out a different type of facial treatment.

Located at Wheelock plaza, Bellezza Aesthetics takes up a huge space (seemingly 3-in-1 combination) which makes the lounge and facial area really spacious — and that's a surprise for me as most facial salons in Orchard are quite cramped, making it hard to relax as I'll be brushing against walls or knocking against chairs. There is also a comfortable spot equipped with television and tea refill corner for your partners or helper to wait!

I was greeted by a group of friendly consultants who had bright smiles across their faces. They joked and laughed with me which made the atmosphere really lighthearted. However mandarin isn't my first language so it was harder for me to communicate (translation happening in my mind).

Treatment takes anywhere from 30 mins to 2.5 hours. Not many places would have a seating area catered to your partners who are waiting for you!

Before Treatment

I was served my favourite Lotus Biscoff again! This time, they've improved their tea formulation to include wolf berry as well. It had a strong rose aroma, which really helped me to relax. After that, a therapist named Jessie showed me to the room.

During Fracell Treatment

The treatment uses a dual fractional radio frequency that uses micro needles and flat matrix to break into the skin surface and remodels collagen. They claimed that it has no burn and no risk of side effects and it helps to reduce acne scars, large pores, wrinkles, skin tone, skin elasticity and volume.

The steps of the facial treatment are as follows:

1. Skin cleansing
2. Exfoliation
3. Extraction
4. Dual Fractional Radio Frequency machine treatment. Note that numbing cream is used and the cream will only wear off after a day!
5. Cooling mask

I felt really cold throughout the treatment because the heater in the room was not working. Hence, the therapist washed my face with icy cold water and she also had freezing hands. The lack of using a steam machine to open pores made the extraction really painful. I was literally crying niagara falls after she lifted the wet cotton pads that were over my eyes. Other than that, the other parts of the facial were really quite comfortable. I couldn't fall asleep during the treatment because it was really cold — I've shared my feedback with the therapist but she said the aircon cannot be tweaked. Perhaps I should bring my own blanket in future!

The immediate effects which I felt were brightened and glowing skin. I also felt that my skin was a lot softer and supple, and after a few days it was a lot more tighter than before. My pores did not get smaller though — perhaps it would do so after a few treatments? Overall, I'm quite happy with the results!

After Treatment - Dessert

Dessert was a nice touch to end off the facial — it's sweet blueberry yoghurt served with granola. I can actually tell which brand of yoghurt and granola they use... *laughs*. Nothing too fanciful, but a nice-to-have I guess.
