Specialising in Korean desserts,
Nunsaram is a Korean Dessert Cafe that has one of the longest history in Singapore. Nunsaram simply means snowman in korean, hence the icon of this cafe is not surprisingly a snowman logo. I've been hanging out with my partner at this cafe whenever I crave for korean desserts and it's the first time I'm bringing my parents over to try our top favourites : the injeolmi bingsu (인절미빙수) and pat bingsu (팥빙수). These are popular desserts in Korea for the summer, so it's always popular in Singapore because it's summer all-year round,
haha! We always go for the smallest size because one bowl is too huge for us to finish on our own.

I'm a fan of tteok (korean rice cake) and I always think how unique it is to have glutinous rice as a form of dessert. Topped with almonds and other fine nuts, the dessert tastes the best with condense milk. They let us customise the level of sweetness by separating the condense milk into a small saucer. My parents preferred the Injeolmi compared to Pat bingsu because it was less sweet (the red beans were drowning in sugary sweetness). If you're looking for a lovely time with your family or a simple, romantic hangout, Nunsaram Korean Dessert Cafe is one such place to consider for chillin' out!
